«In summary, this study based partly on the HSA model has given us the opportunity to identify the different actors’ perspectives on the place of health in school. The four groups of participants seem to be unanimously in favor of physical activity and healthy eating habits included in the formal and informal curricula and recess supervision. On its part, the Hoover- Dempsey et al.’s (1997, 2010) model also used in this study has highlighted parents’ and educators’ practices that aim to influence students, such as having them involved in physical activities, providing them with encouragement, and exercising their role as models. Topics covered through encouragement and modeling are mainly focused on physical activity and diet, two lifestyle habits that are associated with school health.» (p. 171)
